Remembering Cheri Kemp
KEMP, Cheri J. ''Shu-Shu''
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, November 12, 2008. Preceded in death in 2004 by her loving husband of 27 years, Donald "Papa" Kemp. She is survived by her three children, Steve (Debi) Kemp, Lori Nielsen, and Dan (Patty) Kemp. Dear daughter of Toby Corbett, beloved sister of Vicki, Steven, and Michael Azzinaro. Devoted "Shu-Shu" of Marcus, Andrew, Ashley, Ariel, and Matthew. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends. Cheri will be greatly missed by her loving Bunco group of 30 years. Cheri was a tremendous cook and could make even the most simple foods taste extraordinary. Cheri had great strength and overcame many health challenges in her lifetime. Cheri was a devout Catholic and her faith sustained her through the many trials of her life. Family and friends are invited to attend a "Celebration of Life" on November 20 at 3:00 p.m. at 1504 Norfolk Avenue, West Sacramento, Calif.

Remembering Margaret Linker
Margaret Renea Castro Linker died October 26, 2008. She was "50 Something." She was born in Stockton and lived in Stockton most of her life. She married her husband, Edward C. Linker, in 1962. They had two sons, Mark and Eric Linker. She was active in the Catholic Church and an auxillary member of 1LWU Local 54. She worked as a cosmetologist for 13 years.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; her sons, Mark Linker of Modesto and Eric Linker of Stockton and her six grandchildren, Jennifer, Jorden, Erika, Matthew, Natalie and Kassandra Linker. She is also survived by her mom, Augusta Castro of Stockton; sister Theresa Robinson of Stockton; brothers, Anthony Castro of Lebanon, Oregon, Joseph Castro of Stockton and Steven Castro of Stockton. She has numerous brother & sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph T. Castro, mother, June Montana Castro, and sister Sylvia Castro.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 3847 N. Sutter Street., Stockton, CA. Visitation will be held Wednesday October 29,2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Deyoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA. Committal will be at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
