Fund Raiser for West Sacramento Christmas Basket Project

Ignacio Rodriguez' apple pies and Millie Pepitone's gift baskets were a bit hit at the Lodge fund raiser for the West Sacramento Christmas Basket Project. Thanks to Debbie Johnson for coordinating the event, the Taco Crew for cooking and serving the delicious dinner and all the volunteers who worked so hard to make this annual fund raiser a success.

The Mariners T-Ball Team at the Moose

Aracely Hurtado, Manager of the West Sacramento Mariner's T-Ball Team presented the Women of the Moose a sponsors award at the team's awards dinner held at the Lodge home last week.

The Sacramento Stackers

The Sacramento Stackers presented Senior Regent Theresa with a certificate of appreciation for our support of their program.

Tommy Moose on Duty!

Debbie Johnson got a great shot of one of our West Sacramento Motorcycle Police Officers with a Tommy Moose mounted on the back. Our Chapter and Lodge have donated many Tommy Moose stuffed friends to our local police and fire department. Fundraiser for the Children's Tumor Foundation

Many thanks to Marla Clayton and her hard working team at the West Sacramento Moose Family Center for hosting a very successful Casino Night Fundraiser to benefit the Children's Tumor Foundation. The special guest for the evening was Miss Sierra Miller of West Sacramento.

Mardi Gras at the Moose!

Masks and Beads were the popular attire at the Mardi Gras Fund Raiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society hosted by the West Sacramento Moose Lodge. Everyone had a great time!

Shriners Hospital Donation

Penny Lee from the Northern California Shriners Hospital accepted a donation
from the West Sacramento Moose Lodge. The Lodge raised over $700 from the

Wing Night-Fundraiser for the Shriner's Hospital

Emma enjoyed bringing her kids out to the WingNight at the Moose Lodge last
Saturday. Blake has been a patient at the Shriner's Hospital and had his third
hand surgery this last week.

Thanks to all the Hot Mamas,their Wing Men, Moose members, families and friends from our community who came to support this Benefit Fundraiser for the Shriners Hospital.

Mauda, Corine, Pat and Christy represented the Kiwanis Club of West Sacramento
who presented Helena Helmold with a check for $1000 for the Christmas
Basket Project.

Brittany presented with Spinoza Bear

Mauda presented Brittany with a Spinoza Bear on behalf of the chapter. Brittany has been staying at Kiawanis House during her chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Chris Sheen Receives Nurses Scholarship

West Sacramento Women of the Moose Senior Regent Francine McCray presented Chris Sheen with a check to help with her nursing education at the chapter meeting last week.

Tommy Moose presented to West Sacramento Fire Fighters

West Sacramento Fire Fighters were honored at brunch held in their honor
on Sunday. The Lodge and Chapter also presented them a supply of Tommy
Moose stuffed animals to use in their relief efforts for children that are victims
of trauma. Junior Graduate Regent Teri Ganz and Junior Regent Barbara Smith
pose with two of our guest fire fighters along with a Tommy Moose.

That's Amore

Kid's Fishing Derby

Hal, Jack and Madison display the prizes they won at the Moose Kid's Fishing Derby on Saturday, April 18, 2008 at Rancho Seco Park. About 40 kids participated from the District and many Moose parents, family and friends were their to enjoy the day. The Legion put on a great BBQ for everyone.
