Remembering Dale Jensen


Dale Jensen--the only time I ever saw Dale without his cowboy hat was
at his daughter's wedding. A good friend, we will miss his great laugh and
and bear hugs!

JENSEN, Duane Dale
Of West Sacramento, born November 12, 1951 in Murdo, South Dakota,
passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly in his home, February 14, 2009.
Dale will be deeply missed by many. Dale was preceded in death by his father,
Dale Jensen, and his mother, Mary Jensen. He leaves behind his wife of 33 years,
Charlene; son, Jason (Sara); daughters, Renee and Janelle (Danny); seven
grandchildren, including one yet to be born. He also leaves his sister, Rayma;
beloved aunts, Dolores and Gladys; and numerous family and friends.
Dale retired from the US Navy as a chief after 21 years in the submarine service.
He was a member and volunteer at the VFW Post #9498 in West Sacramento,
the Fleet Reserve Association and the Moose Lodge. Family and friends are
invited to attend Memorial Services on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 3:00pm
in the River Cities Funeral Chapel.

Chili Cook-Off




Deborah Evenson was selected by the celebrity judges panel as the 1st place winner at the West Sac Moose Chili Cook-Off on Saturday. Chairman Maureen Stewart and her committee did an outstanding job and we all had a really great time.

The Family Mardi Gras



The River City High School Jazz Band "The Syncopating Sea Monkeys" performed at the Family Mardi Gras on January 31, 2008. It was a great evening...good food and great entertainment. Many thanks to Chair Lindsay Williams and her committee for an outstanding job.
