Honoring our Co-Worker of the Year


Tina Hady was our nominee for Novice Co-worker of the Year and Mauda Butte was nominated for International Co-Worker of the year. The two were presented with awards at a dinner in their honor last week at the Lodge home.

Remembering Mary Stump


Mary Stump was Senior Regent of the West Sacramento Chapter Women The Moose from 1977-78. She was a beautiful and vivacious personality and will be missed by all her friends.

Entered into rest May 27, 2011 in Carmichael at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Marty E. Stump. Loving mother of Lonnie Johnson (Rhonda), Sandra Hoffmann, Randall Stump, Pamela Paxton (Kevin) & Loren Stump (Linda). Devoted grandmother of 11 & great-grandmother of 3. Preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Johnson. Prior to her marriage, Mary spent 15 years as a Catholic Nun. She was an active member of the Women of Moose, #1431 of West Sacramento, the Sacramento Yacht Club and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. She held numerous awards for her achievements in Sales with Avon. Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering celebrating her life on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Moose Lodge, 3240 Jefferson Blvd., West Sacramento, CA. Remembering Dorothy (Dottie) Calles


CALLES, Dorothy 'Dottie'
Entered into rest May 2, 2011 in West Sacramento at the age of 83. Beloved wife of 61 years to Edwin Calles. Loving mother of Mike Calles, Sr., Charlene Cook (Ray), Rodney Calles (Karrie) & Dale Calles (Loriann). Dear sister of Bill Ashworth (Karen). Devoted grandmother of Michael, Jr., Emmily, Cheryl, Matthew, Kenneth, Kevin, Taylor, David, Dana & Julianna and great-grandmother of Aspen, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Kyra, Cheyenne & McKenzie. Preceded in death by her son, James, sister Joan Russell & brother James Ashworth. Dottie will be remembered for many things including her honesty, integrity, love of dancing and devotion to family and friends. She was truly a 'mom' to many. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at River Cities Funeral Chapel, 910 Soule St., West Sac.

Valeria 'Baba Arch Entered into eternal rest Friday, April 29, 2011 in her West Sacramento home guided by the love of her Lord & her family. Beloved wife of the late John Arch, Jr. Loving mother of Elizabeth Corrales, Valentina Davis and Carol Breese. Devoted grandmother of Andrea, Lance, Nicholas, Katrina, David and Daniel & great grandmother of 7. Pre- ceded in death by two grand- children, Rudolph and Michael. Panahida services will be held Monday, May 2, 2011 at 6:00pm with funeral services Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 11:00am, both services at the Elevation Of The Holy Cross Orthodox Church, 9010 Jackson Rd., Sacramento, CA 95826. Interment Monument Hill Memorial Park, Woodland. Our deepest, heartfelt thanks to Yolo Hospice and those who cared for mother in her final days.
