Kid's Movie Night
Thanks to the Joint Board of Officers and Debbie Johnson for putting on a great movie night for our Moose kids. They had pizza and popcorn and watched the movie Bolt. All of them seemed to have a great time!

Remembering Evelyn McComb
Evelyn McComb passed away on 5-23-09. A dear friend, Evelyn was a charter member and the first Senior Regent of West Sacramento Chapter Women of the Moose. Many of her friends at the Lodge lovingly referred to Evelyn as "Mama Moose".

Passed away in Sacramento on May 23, 2009, aged 89 years. She is survived by daughter, Susan (Micheal) Gerringer; son, William (Lois) Merkley; grand- children, Michelle (John) Masten Herrera, Machelle Martinez, Stone and Ridge Merkley; great-grandchildren, Kylie Masten, Thomas Herrera, Elijah and Reece Martinez; step-great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Adriana and John Herrera. Also, survived by nieces, Carol (Wayne) Lingenfelter and Sharon (John) Muir. She was employed by the State of California, EDD and Water Resources, for 37 years. She was born in Bryte, graduated from Woodland High School and a local business college. She was a resident of West Sacramento for over 83 years. She was an active member of the Women of Moose, Chapter #1431 of West Sacramento for over 50 years and a Charter Member of Eagles Aux. #9. Private graveside services with inurnment in St. Mary's Cemetery conducted by River Cities Funeral Chapel.
